From age 3. Our Pre-Ballet programme is specifically designed for children aged 3–6, focusing on coordination, musicality, and correct physical foundations in an age-appropriate environment. Starting early is an advantage — the habits built at age 3 determine how a dancer moves at age 13.

Every new student begins with a placement assessment — one class where our instructors evaluate the appropriate level for your child regardless of prior experience. To book, call your nearest branch directly or submit an inquiry through the Contact page. Our team will confirm your assessment class within 24 hours.

Yes. New students are accepted throughout the year. The placement assessment ensures your child is placed in the correct class level from day one — so they are never behind or unchallenged regardless of when they start.

Girls: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair must be in a neat classical bun — no loose hair during class. Boys: White fitted t-shirt, black shorts or leggings, ballet slippers. A full dress code guide is provided on enrollment. Correct attire is part of the professional standard we maintain from the first class.

Premier Ballet Academy follows a Russian Ballet system enriched with elements of European ballet training, all delivered to international school standards — a structured, level-by-level professional training framework used by serious ballet institutions worldwide. PBA is the first academy in Egypt to offer this comprehensive programme, from Pre-Ballet through to Pre-Professional training.

PBA was founded by Ahmed Yehia and Anja Ahcin — both principal dancers of the Cairo Opera Ballet Company. Ahmed was awarded First Prize as best Egyptian dancer in international competition and was featured on CNN Arabic. Anja is a graduate of the Belgrade Ballet School and has been a principal dancer with the Cairo Opera since 2008. Every PBA instructor is trained and supervised to the standard set by its founders.

Every student at PBA is assessed every term through a structured midterm evaluation. The assessment covers individual performance, class-level progress, and teacher accountability. Every student receives a written development report — not a grade, a detailed document outlining current standing and areas for development. Parents are never left guessing.

Fees vary by level, branch, and schedule. Contact your nearest branch for the current fee structure. Every new student is entitled to one assessment class before committing to enrollment.

Yes. PBA students participate in end-of-year recitals, internal competitions, and external ballet competitions. Participation is based on level and readiness — not age alone. The April Competition is one of the key annual milestones on the PBA calendar.
